- 1 pound sushi rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 pound fresh salmon, skinless
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear; drain.
- In a pot, combine the rice and water, then bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the salmon in a skillet over medium heat until it flakes easily with a fork.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked salmon with mayonnaise, Sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and spread it in a baking dish.
- Top the rice with the salmon mixture and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
