A delicious and spicy pasta dish that combines turkey bacon and a creamy sauce.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy; remove and crumble.
  3. Add olive oil, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet; sauté until tender.
  4. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes, then add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss the cooked fettuccine with the sauce and crumbled bacon.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, adjust the amount of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • This recipe can be made with regular bacon if preferred.
