  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
