- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- salt to taste

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, followed by half of the meat sauce, then half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
