A delicious low carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Add onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
  5. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese until melted.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded provolone.
  8. Chop the turkey bacon and sprinkle on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • This dish can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce.
