  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the diced turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions.
  6. Drain the gnocchi and toss with the sauce.
