This Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast is a delicious, easy recipe that produces fall-apart tender meat bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 5 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Place pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
  4. Add a tablespoon of unsalted butter.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  6. Shred the roast with two forks and mix it with the juices before serving.
