Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and slice the potatoes thinly.
  3. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until warm.
  4. Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish, followed by half of the cheese mixture. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the top and dot with butter.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
