  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  9. Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  10. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter, followed by half of the toffee bits.
  11. Pour the remaining batter over the top and repeat the caramel and toffee layering.
  12. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  13. Allow to cool before serving.

  • Serve with whipped cream for an extra treat.
