Learn how to create an easy homemade version of the classic Chinese take-out dish, Beef and Broccoli, all in one pan.

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in broccoli florets and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Pour over beef and broccoli.
  5. Stir and cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the beef marinate in soy sauce for 15 minutes before cooking.
