  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set and allow to cool.
  8. Once cooled, fill the centers with chocolate ganache and top with whipped cream.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
  • Make sure the butter is at room temperature for better mixing.
